Postdoctoral Research Associate (Chemistry)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; may require weekend or after-hours work and travel as needed.

What you will do

• Design, synthesize, characterize, and evaluate novel catalysts, bio-inspired transition metal complexes, and functional catalytic materials.
• Conduct experimental laboratory research in catalysis, including inorganic synthesis and characterization.
• Analyze and disseminate research data through group meetings, presentations, manuscripts, scientific papers, reports, and grant proposals.
• Attend scientific meetings and seminars, maintain current knowledge through literature review, and present research results.
• Mentor collaborating graduate and undergraduate students and provide advice and assistance to laboratory team members.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation, contribute to group tasks, and follow applicable safety standards.

Requirements

• Appropriate PhD required.

Nice to have

• PhD in Chemistry with related training in electrochemistry and materials chemistry.
