Principal Technical Program Manager (Biotech)

Location: Seattle, Washington; 70% in-office and 30% flexible work model. Only U.S. persons eligible due to U.S. export-control requirements.

Salary: $158,600–$285,500 per year, plus potential annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Partner with Commercial business stakeholders across countries to understand digital, customer, and operational needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
• Develop integrated roadmaps and lead end-to-end planning and execution for complex commercial digital programs, managing scope, schedules, dependencies, budgets, risks, and delivery.
• Coordinate Product, Data, Engineering, and Business teams to align on technical and data solutions and deliver high-quality outcomes across markets.
• Partner with Engineering teams on enterprise data capabilities, architecture, data quality, governance, dependencies, and delivery.
• Provide data-informed prioritization and transparent reporting, represent the Digital portfolio in leadership forums, and communicate business impact and program outcomes.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement while mentoring TPMs and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 6+ years in technical program management for complex, cross-functional software or digital initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale technical programs with multiple business and technology stakeholders and multi-market scope.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence multiple organizational levels and translate strategy into executable roadmaps.
• A degree in advanced technology, or 5+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience, plus proven technical design and architecture skills.
• Experience with commercial digital systems, customer platforms, or enterprise-scale business systems supporting geographically distributed markets.
• Experience leading programs involving data platforms, data engineering, analytics, or data-intensive digital products, including architecture, dependencies, governance, and delivery collaboration with Data and Engineering teams.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as biotech, pharma, or healthcare, including compliance, data privacy, and localization requirements.
• Ability to build, influence, and manage relationships with Business and Technical stakeholders across geographically distributed teams.
