Strategy & Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote from any location; convenient office in Chicago, Illinois

What you will do

• Write and execute complex SQL queries across multiple data sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and performance opportunities.
• Develop recommendations to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, product performance, and business outcomes.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for key business objectives.
• Analyze customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, servicing, and other operational areas.
• Present analytical findings to stakeholders and monitor results after process changes or product launches.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, business analysis, strategy and operations, management consulting, or another highly analytical role.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to independently write complex queries.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, root-cause investigation, hypothesis validation, and large datasets.
• Strong quantitative problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy, validation, and analytical rigor.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Remote work is available from any location.
