Product Designer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote; Cambridge, UK; London, UK. US compensation is also listed.

Salary: UK £80,000–£125,000 per year; US $125,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience, plus equity.

hirify.global is building The Grid, a factory-scale robotics platform that improves small-batch, high-mix electronics assembly and is used in live revenue-generating production.

What you will do

• Design the customer experience for uploading, quoting, ordering, and the board viewer on hirify.global.com.
• Design clear, fast, data-heavy internal tools for purchasing, planning, recruiting, and AI-agent operations.
• Create interfaces that factory operators can read at a glance while robots are operating.
• Own the design system across web applications and machine screens, bringing brand, components, and patterns together.
• Design workflows that help users review, steer, and trust AI agents.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping full-featured web applications with TypeScript and React.
• A strong UI and UX design sensibility, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Ability to own a product end to end, from speaking with users through deployment.
• Experience using coding agents to work faster and taking full ownership of their output.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualisation.
• Experience with Elm or other functional languages.
• Experience designing industrial or operator interfaces.
