UI/UX Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid, based in Stockholm, Sweden

Salary: €60,000–120,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Invent interfaces for multiplayer AI travel planning, including live plans and model-generated content.
• Design group planning, realtime co-editing, bookings, budgets, and an assistant experience as one coherent product.
• Build interfaces in React and TypeScript and ship improvements weekly.
• Shape the product experience across screens, transitions, and mobile-first flows.
• Observe real users, identify hesitation, and simplify complex interactions.
• Set a high craft standard for future designers and engineers.

Requirements

• Strong React and TypeScript skills, with the ability to build what you design.
• Experience creating interaction models from a blank canvas and iterating on them.
• A considered portfolio with clear reasoning behind design decisions.
• Command of Tailwind, shadcn/ui, motion, and design-system practices.
• A mobile-first approach for one-handed use in foreign cities and unreliable connectivity.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience designing around generative AI output, including streaming and unpredictable content.
• Experience with multiplayer or realtime UX, presence, and live edits.
