Regulatory Affairs & Licensing Expert (Thailand Lead)

What you will do

• Develop and execute regulatory strategies and identify preferred markets in the region for operations.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, policymakers, and other external stakeholders on stablecoin issuer regulation.
• Analyze local regulatory proposals, advise on regulatory risks and opportunities, monitor regulatory changes, and support initiatives influencing regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to obtaining required license approvals in identified markets.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, project management, and wider business teams to address regulatory challenges and execute licensing initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of regulatory experience in the financial services or crypto-asset industry.
• Deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for the crypto-asset industry in Thailand.
• Ability to apply key Thai regulatory frameworks strategically and operationally and provide direction on complex regulatory issues.
• Expertise in preparing regulatory analyses and managing interactions with regulatory authorities, including regulatory consultation response submissions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and representing companies in regulatory discussions.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• English-speaking ability.
• University degree.
