Finance Controller (AI/SaaS)

hirify.global rebuilds vertical software around AI, acquires established software businesses, and launches AI-native products for enterprise and public-sector markets.

What you will do

• Oversee finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Conduct monthly book closures, reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage tax filings, regulatory compliance, statutory audits, financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support financial due diligence and the integration of acquired businesses.
• Develop financial strategies focused on cash flow, cost management, and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and mentor finance professionals while providing analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus required CA certification.
• At least 3 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably in a SaaS, software, or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
