Agentic Engineering Director (AI)

What you will do

• Define engineering standards, best practices, delivery patterns, control gates, certification requirements, and governance models for agentic software engineering and the Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC).
• Lead and manage an Agentic Engineering group, mentor engineers across teams, and lead lighthouse implementations.
• Own evaluation frameworks, benchmarking systems, regression testing, security evaluations, and reusable agentic engineering harnesses.
• Define requirements for agentic platforms, including Code Agents, model routing, context management, memory services, AI gateways, security, observability, and resiliency.
• Establish standards, registries, certification frameworks, prompt governance, and lifecycle processes for agents, skills, workflows, and MCP services.
• Lead responsible AI governance, engineering adoption programs, capability measurement, productivity tracking, and optimization of token usage, model routing, and platform efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years in software management roles.
• Deep expertise in ADLC, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, and observability.
• Expert proficiency with Code Agents and agent frameworks.
• Experience building evaluation harnesses, benchmarking systems, and governance frameworks.
• Strong technical leadership and people management skills.
• Pragmatic, data-driven, and outcomes-focused approach.
