What you will do
- Lead the transition from AI-assisted coding and reviewing to outcome-based software development using precise specifications and behavioral scenarios.
- Build and lead a team developing tools, infrastructure, workflows, and organizational capabilities for AI-native development.
- Evaluate coding agents and AI tools, define their use across R&D, and establish shared context across repositories.
- Design end-to-end agentic development workflows from idea through production and rethink software design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Define requirements for AI-ready CI/CD, isolated development environments, quality gates, AI governance, and agent permissions.
- Lead experiments and strategic initiatives from proof of concept through implementation, adoption, measurement, and ongoing evolution.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a technology leader in a product company, such as a founder, CTO, entrepreneur in residence, or senior technology leader.
- Experience building and leading high-performing technical teams and driving complex initiatives through scaled adoption.
- Experience leading AI adoption, major technological change, or organization-wide innovation.
- Strong technical depth in software architecture, infrastructure, development practices, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development.
- Hands-on familiarity with coding agents, AI development tools, agentic workflows, or the infrastructure required to deploy them across R&D.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused mindset with the ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across teams.
