IPU Production Engineering Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Ferentino, Frosinone, Italy; onsite role

Minimum annual salary: €36,000; eligible for a company productivity bonus

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment, cycle times, and materials to support quality, efficiency, cost, safety, and production targets.
• Define the working-phase sequence for new production processes to meet product cost and equipment investment budgets.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement projects within timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
• Approve internally or externally developed process designs and perform final project-related tests.
• Support production during process and equipment start-up, define action plans, and train maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies, lead testing activities, define approval criteria, and select external providers.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, or a technical diploma with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production process optimization.
• Experience using ERP systems and production planning tools, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Collaborative team-player approach, adaptability to change, and comfort working in cross-functional environments.
• Required ability to communicate in both English and Italian with internal and external stakeholders.
