Content Finance Data Business Analyst - 12 month FTC

Salary: £60,000–£67,000 per year plus a £5,441 London Weighting Allowance

What you will do

• Own and manage the Content Finance data asset catalogue, including business definitions, ownership and stewardship.
• Develop Finance data models and document end-to-end data lineage, data flows and links to source systems.
• Lead Finance data requirements and modelling for the Content Investment Licensing System replacement programme.
• Investigate reporting, reconciliation and data quality issues, identify root causes and drive remediation.
• Define and govern data access models, ownership, stewardship, security classifications, controls and segregation of duties.
• Champion Content Finance requirements within Finance and People Modernisation and facilitate workshops across Finance, Data and Technology.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Data Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data lineage, metadata and data governance concepts.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and data requirements.
• Experience investigating data quality issues and driving remediation.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience working within Finance data environments and Finance systems.
• Demonstrable experience leading data-related change and influencing stakeholders across complex organisations.

Nice to have

• Experience in media, content, rights or production environments.
• Knowledge of SAP and finance transformation programmes.
• Experience with data cataloguing, governance or lineage tools.
• Awareness of modern data platforms including Snowflake and AWS.
