Business Analyst

What you will do

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse challenges, and recommend improvements to business processes and systems.
• Map, document, and review workflows and information requirements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide second-line support for enterprise applications, investigate incidents, coordinate resolutions, and support system maintenance.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, enhancements, and practical technology solutions.
• Coordinate with technical teams, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver system changes and IT projects.
• Improve data quality, reporting, documentation, change management, user guidance, and IT governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting business-critical or enterprise applications.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, analysis, and process improvement.
• Experience with enterprise systems supporting corporate functions, ideally Finance and/or HR.
• Understanding of application support, system enhancements, change management, incident resolution, and IT project delivery.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

Nice to have

• Professional accreditation in business analysis, IT, or project management.
• Experience in the oil and gas or wider energy sector.
