Staff Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Base pay: $202,500–$274,000 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes across a highly matrixed organization and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Lead significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal architecture layers.
• Design and implement durable software solutions for critical customer problems in fast-paced environments.
• Build full-stack experiences and backend solutions using AI technologies and relevant technology frameworks.
• Develop robust, scalable, secure, highly available applications with optimized performance.
• Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to understand behaviors, influence solutions, and deliver end-to-end results.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
• 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
• Full-stack development experience with AI technologies and tools applied to user experiences or backend solutions.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin for Android, and back-end technologies such as Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Express with Node.js.
• Experience with AI technologies including SageMaker, Vertex, LangChain, large language models, prompt engineering, Dialogflow, or Python.
• Knowledge of building AI-native applications, including AI applicability, model types and limitations, evaluation tools, and real-world AI technologies.
• Ability to create robust, scalable, and secure technical designs that balance short- and long-term objectives.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, collaboration, independent decision-making, and relationship-building skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex technical environments and with global teams across time zones.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP.
• At least 1 year of experience working on teams that built AI-native applications.
