Industrial Tolerancing and Capability Engineer (d/f/m) (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop industrial tolerancing analyses for current and future industrial production systems, covering elementary parts through final assembly lines.
• Maintain product datum coherence with industrial systems and cascade product requirements into production systems.
• Define industrial system datums and perform tolerance analysis and computation.
• Ensure product tolerances are compatible with industrial system capabilities.
• Translate industrial build processes into industrial tolerancing documentation.
• Support R&T and R&D technology demonstrations and help industrial architect teams select build concepts for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering.
• Several years of experience in the aeronautical, automotive, naval, or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of ISO tolerancing regulations.
• Knowledge of tolerancing simulation and authoring tools, including MecaMaster, 3DCS, PolyWorks, CATIA V5, and/or 3DX.
• Demonstrated background in product and/or industrial tolerancing.
• Flexibility to work across projects ranging from research and technology to production support.
• Innovation, out-of-the-box thinking, and the ability to work in a multicultural, multifunctional team.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial system design.
