Industrial Architect (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Manching, Germany; on-site role with flexible and mobile working options where possible.

hirify.global develops aircraft and the industrial systems required to manufacture them from prototypes through series production.

What you will do

• Analyse aircraft designs and development logic, and steer industrial system development alongside product development.
• Drive manufacturing development through Manufacturing Readiness Levels, from technology development and samples to mock-ups, prototypes, and series production.
• Coordinate detail-part manufacturing, assembly, installation, testing, and jigs and tools disciplines to establish reliable production capabilities.
• Support aircraft design decisions by assessing production impact and balancing performance, cost, schedule, and production-rate targets.
• Report technical progress to Industrial Management and collaborate with engineering, production, and external supplier stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of the aerospace design and manufacturing ecosystem, including suppliers, customers, and authorities.
• Cross-sectional knowledge of aircraft design disciplines and manufacturing disciplines from composite-part production through aircraft function testing.
• Experience setting up, executing, and pacing large-scale technical development projects using development standards and project management techniques.
• Knowledge of development tools such as Config Systems, DOORS, CATIA, and DELMIA.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required. Fluent German is advantageous.
