Master Thesis in Purchasing and Supply Chain (Helicopter Engines)

Location: Donauwörth, Germany; full-time, onsite; 6-month final-year master's thesis starting as soon as possible.

hirify.global Helicopters develops helicopters from initial concept through airworthy products and operates an onsite test airfield in Donauwörth.

What you will do

• Optimize demand forecasting for helicopter engines by structuring communication channels and analyzing program flexibility.
• Monitor engine operational performance, including Takt time and on-time delivery indicators OTD1/OTD1C.
• Define the engine supplier ordering process, including ordering horizons, contractual terms, and financial aspects.
• Support tactical procurement, quality management, and inventory management activities.
• Drive project management initiatives in a complex and international environment.

Requirements

• Be enrolled full-time in a master's-level Purchasing, Supply Chain, or equivalent program (Master's level / Bac+5).
• Be fluent in French and English.
• Have knowledge of aeronautical design and aircraft systems or equipment.
• Have competence in Big Data and data analysis.

Nice to have

• First practical experience in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing.
