Java Backend Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Construct, validate, and sustain server-side microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Provision and orchestrate applications in cloud-native environments using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Automate, model, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Apply continuous integration and automated deployment practices to streamline delivery.
• Drive system health, operational visibility, and performance monitoring across distributed services using platforms such as Grafana.
• Own delivery end to end, from system architecture through production release and long-term maintenance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience constructing, validating, and sustaining server-side microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on expertise provisioning and orchestrating applications in cloud-native environments with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience using Terraform to automate, model, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure predictably.
• Experience with modern continuous integration and automated deployment pipeline practices.
• Experience with system health, operational visibility, and performance monitoring across distributed services, including platforms such as Grafana.
• End-to-end delivery ownership from initial system architecture to production release and long-term maintenance.
• High-quality, pragmatic, adaptable, and outcome-focused approach to work.
• Clear communication, rapid trust-building with clients and teammates, and effective collaborative problem-solving.
