Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within EMEA; listed locations are Poland, Spain, Portugal, and Estonia. An office option is available in Riga, Latvia.

What you will do

• Lead and develop engineers through clear expectations, continuous feedback, and people leadership.
• Co-own product outcomes with Product and Design by contributing to discovery, opportunity shaping, prioritization, and product decisions.
• Define project goals, requirements, and technical specifications with Product Managers and Engineering Managers across squads.
• Own engineering execution from planning and delivery through operation and post-launch learning.
• Drive predictable delivery through prioritization, dependency management, and transparent risk management.
• Shape technical direction, maintain engineering standards, and contribute to engineering improvements.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product company.
• Proven ability to deliver complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong product mindset with experience contributing to discovery and shaping product decisions.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to engage in architecture and engineering decisions.
• Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, make trade-offs, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
