Standalone Finance Business Partner (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Act as the central finance business partner for the Carve-out Program Lead and workstreams, supporting separation and standalone-readiness decisions through business cases, scenario analyses, and financial assessments.
• Establish an integrated view of carve-out commitments, actuals, budgets, and forecasts across workstreams, entities, and functions.
• Coordinate planning, steering, and reporting; challenge cost assumptions; identify deviations and risks; and drive corrective actions.
• Develop transparent charging and cost-allocation concepts with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports and decision papers with consistent definitions, controls, and audit trails while using digital solutions to improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
• Transition into TI Performance or Function Controlling after the carve-out and support ongoing performance steering.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Longstanding experience in controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering, project controlling, or transformation finance.
• Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to structure ambiguous topics, connect multiple data sources, and turn financial information into practical recommendations.
• Hands-on mindset and resilience when working under high workload, changing priorities, and incomplete information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge constructively across functions and seniority levels.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with carve-outs, separations, or large transformation programs.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, SAC, or comparable tools.
• Additional language skills.
