Experienced Function Controller

What you will do

• Act as a Finance Business Partner for corporate functions including IT, HR, Communications, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, and Finance.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, and mid-term planning with local and regional controllers.
• Analyze cost, headcount, project, and resource developments; explain variances and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports, performance reviews, business cases, investment assessments, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Challenge spending plans, quantify efficiency measures, and support resource allocation.
• Develop allocation, charging, and governance concepts while standardizing, automating, and digitizing controlling processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Longstanding experience in controlling, FP&A, cost controlling, function controlling, or finance business partnering.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cost center controlling, and variance analysis.
• Analytical and structured working style, with attention to detail and understanding of the broader business context.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude and flexibility in a changing organization with a high workload.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to challenge assumptions constructively and follow topics through to resolution.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent English.

• Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, SAC, or comparable tools.
• Additional languages.
