Master Thesis Position - MGT Auxiliaries Commodity Management

What you will do

• Conduct market research and data analysis for specific commodity groups or auxiliary components.
• Evaluate supplier performance, market trends, and cost drivers to identify optimization opportunities.
• Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from internal databases and external market sources.
• Develop structured recommendations, frameworks, or strategic models based on research findings.
• Prepare and present thesis progress and final outcomes to academic advisors and procurement stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Commodity Managers and cross-functional teams to align research with business needs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master of Science or equivalent degree program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with prior coursework or basic experience in procurement, logistics, or data analytics.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of commodity management and strategic sourcing principles.
• Strong academic writing and documentation skills, plus effective stakeholder presentation and communication capabilities.

Nice to have

• Swedish language skills.
