Senior EHS & Loss Prevention Engineer

hirify.global Singapore is recruiting permanent employees for the manufacturing site expansion of hirify.global Asia Manufacturing Pte Ltd in Singapore.

What you will do

• Lead fire safety, emergency management, business continuity, security, and loss prevention management systems for the API manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, hirify.global EHS and Security Standards, permits, and licenses.
• Organize and train incident commanders, emergency response teams, contract security personnel, colleagues, and contractors; conduct drills and tabletop exercises.
• Manage contractor safety, onsite contract security services, fire protection and alarm systems, security surveillance, and operational readiness activities.
• Lead incident investigations, internal audits, regulatory inspections, trend analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide EHS expertise for capital projects, facility modifications, equipment installation, site expansion, technology transfer, commissioning, qualification, sustainability, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
• At least 7 years in a supervisory or leading role as a Fire Safety Manager in a security or fire emergency organization.
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience for consideration as a Senior EHS/Loss Prevention Engineer.
• Knowledge and application of relevant regulatory laws and regulations, codes of practice, and/or the National Fire Code.
• Ability to lead regulatory compliance, risk assessments, job safety analysis, permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, confined-space entry, fire safety, emergency preparedness, business continuity, physical security, and contractor safety programs.
• Ability to liaise with regulatory agencies including NEA, MOM, SCDF, and SPF, and participate in cross-functional, WSH, Fire & Security, and Contractor Safety Committees.
• Ability to manage 4 direct contract security service reports and 4 indirect shift site incident commander reports on a matrix basis.

Nice to have

• Fire Safety Engineering degree or qualification.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or petrochemical or chemicals manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory laws, regulations, codes of practice, and/or the National Fire Code.
