TL;DR
Solution Expert – Supplier Intelligence & Procurement (Supplier Risk/SaaS): Defining best-practice procurement and supplier-management processes for a SaaS platform, with an accent on supplier risk, regulatory requirements, enablement content, and cross-functional solution ownership. Focus on designing target processes, resolving subject-matter escalations, translating European regulations into supplier-management practices, and validating product improvements.
Location: Munich, Mannheim or Madrid, Germany/Spain. Hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office; minimal travel below 10%.
Company
Develops SaaS solutions for sustainability, supply-chain transparency, product compliance, and value-chain governance, including AI-enabled solutions delivered through a cloud platform.
What you will do
Own the subject matter for Supplier Intelligence and Procurement, defining best-practice configurations, standard approaches, onboarding packages, and templates.
Convert relevant product releases into enablement content, including short videos, eLearning input, release webinars, and office hours.
Train Delivery, Support, and Customer Success teams; build and assess certification for the solution area.
Handle second-line subject-matter escalations and determine whether issues represent product, documentation, or training gaps.
Represent field feedback and improvement ideas to Product Management, prioritise them, and test new functionality before release.
Own solution documentation and meet customers only for lighthouse projects, complex escalations, new-product introductions, and limited onboarding work.
Requirements
Several years of experience in procurement and supplier-management transformation from consulting, industry, or the software sector, including analysing processes, quantifying cost and risk, and designing target processes.
Deep experience with supplier risk and resilience, including supplier onboarding and qualification, risk assessment, audits, and corrective actions.
Understanding of European regulations driving supplier management, including LkSG and CSDDD, and their translation into day-to-day practices.
Comfort working with supplier and ERP data, including master data, hierarchies, and interfaces; no coding is required, but data models must be understood independently.
Ability to simplify complex topics into concise content; building content instead of repeatedly explaining the same topics is required.
Ability to work in a structured way with Product Management and justify priorities with clear reasoning.
Fluent English for business communication.
Nice to have
Experience with video, webinars, or training formats.
German or Spanish language skills.
Culture & Benefits
Purpose-driven work addressing sustainability, supply-chain transparency, and corporate responsibility challenges.
Collaborative teamwork and an open communication culture.
Hybrid work options and team-bonding activities.
Personal and professional growth opportunities.
Sustainable mobility options, team events, and workspaces in Madrid, Munich, and beyond.
