R&D Engineer Software 3 (Mainframe VSE)

What you will do

• Research and develop innovative software solutions for hirify.global’s Core Infrastructure products.
• Work within a Scrum team in an agile development environment.
• Participate in design, code, and test plan reviews.
• Develop automated test scripts and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• Prior developer experience with VSE, z/VM, or z/OS platforms.
• Strong Assembler skills.
• Knowledge and related product expertise in one or more VSE subsystems, POWER, and CICS.

Nice to have

• Experience working in mainframe VSE environments, including z/VM and VSE JCL.
• Experience with mainframe VSE programming languages and tools, including Assembler, REXX, and VSE macros.
