Associate Director, Experience Design (AI/UX)

What you will do

• Lead user research to identify pain points in human-AI interaction and create journey maps for complex, multi-step agentic reasoning.
• Design dynamic interaction patterns for AI latency, ambiguity, and error states so users remain in control of autonomous processes.
• Facilitate co-creation workshops and usability tests with creative technologists, AI engineers, clients, developers, and product managers.
• Design human-in-the-loop hand-off moments that support validation, transparency, and trust in automated workflows.
• Advocate for accessibility, inclusive intelligence, and equitable AI experiences across diverse users.
• Shape the use of agentic AI in human-centered design and communicate design direction from discovery through delivery.

Requirements

• Background in UX, experience design, or a related field, supported by a strong portfolio of enterprise or innovation-studio projects.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and usability testing methods.
• Experience facilitating co-creation sessions and presenting to clients.
• A clear point of view on how AI can drive human-centered design and co-creation.
• Experience with emerging AI assistants such as Figma Make, MiroAI, Adobe Firefly, or Lovable.
• Fluency in Figma, Sketch, or similar prototyping tools.
• Experience working with developers and product managers to translate research into delivery.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Direct experience with AI, agentic AI/UX, and data-driven design.
