Staff Product Manager, Data

Location: Nashville, Tennessee (onsite) or remote within the United States. Employees outside the Nashville area must travel to the Nashville office at least twice per year for company gatherings, with additional travel possible.

Salary: $165,000–$210,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

Built is an AI-powered SaaS platform for real estate and construction finance, providing draw management, reporting, risk tools, and operating workflows for lenders, borrowers, owners, and contractors.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for embedded reporting, analytics, portfolio dashboards, data exports, and data-sharing integrations.
• Translate lender, owner, and general contractor workflows into product requirements and data capabilities.
• Partner with data engineering on data models, pipelines, data quality, metric definitions, data contracts, and acceptance criteria.
• Improve data capture across product teams and shape the data foundation for AI features, including the AI Draw Agent and portfolio risk tools.
• Measure adoption and product impact, prioritize future improvements, and support sales and customer success with demos and enablement.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning data, analytics, or reporting products in B2B SaaS.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to work directly with data and validate engineering output.
• Working knowledge of data warehouses, ELT, dimensional modeling, and BI or embedded analytics tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
• Experience shipping data features and analytics capabilities that customers adopt.
• Ability to explain data concepts clearly to bankers and engineers.
• Financial services, lending, real estate, or construction experience is beneficial.
