Project Manager - Tailem Bend (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Tailem Bend, South Australia, Australia. Based in, or willing to relocate to, Adelaide or Tailem Bend, with regular travel to site.

What you will do

• Deliver the Tailem Bend capital project from gateway approval through construction, commissioning, deployment, and handover.
• Manage the project programme, budget, forecasts, risks, variations, and change-control process.
• Coordinate design development, planning approvals, procurement, utility connections, construction, fit-out, and site interfaces.
• Direct consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and trades against programme, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate commissioning, acceptance testing, defect close-out, operational readiness, and transfer of handover documentation.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with authorities, utilities, council, neighbours, community representatives, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, project management, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience delivering capital projects, ideally in data centres, mission-critical, energy, or industrial infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects on site from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong programme and cost control, contract administration, reporting, risk management, and change-control skills.
• Working knowledge of work health and safety, quality management, planning approvals, authority conditions, and utility or network connections.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Adelaide or Tailem Bend; regular travel to the site is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with high-density compute environments and liquid or immersion cooling systems.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
