Senior Storage Engineer (SW Development / QA Automation)

Location: Remote; flexible working hours. Business trips to Israel are offered.

What you will do

• Work on distributed storage and block, file, or object storage architectures.
• Develop software or create QA automation for storage systems, depending on background.
• Work with NVMe, NVMe-oF, NFS, SMB, S3, iSCSI, or similar storage technologies.
• Manage Kubernetes storage, including CSI drivers, PVs/PVCs, StorageClasses, and persistent storage.
• Work with enterprise storage platforms from Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, or similar vendors.
• Apply networking and distributed-systems expertise to storage solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience and deep, hands-on storage expertise.
• Experience with distributed storage and block, file, or object storage architectures.
• Experience with NVMe, NVMe-oF, NFS, SMB, S3, iSCSI, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Python, C++, Go, or other relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Experience with Kubernetes storage, including CSI drivers, PVs/PVCs, StorageClasses, and persistent storage management.
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms from Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, or similar vendors.
• Deep storage expertise is valued more than a specific programming language, technology stack, or job title.
