Delivery Solutions Architect - Public Sector (DOJ) (Data and AI)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold an active Top Secret Clearance, and reside in the greater Huntsville, Alabama region; up to 30% travel required.

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD per year, with potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead post-technical-win account strategies and execution plans for Databricks use cases across strategic public-sector customers.
• Own technical delivery across onboarding, enablement, production go-live, adoption, and healthy workload consumption.
• Serve as the first technical contact for production and go-live issues, coordinating Shared Services, User Education, Technical Services, Support, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Create production acceleration plans and coordinate Professional Services engagement proposals.
• Build execution plans covering use-case delivery, user growth, Lakehouse adoption, cloud cost control, tuning and optimization, and executive governance.
• Report customer health, usage, risks, investment status, product adoption, and use-case progression to internal leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret Clearance.
• Residence in the greater Huntsville, Alabama region.
• 7+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI, including contribution to technical debates and customer design decisions.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and of attributing business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management experience, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives; conducting open-ended discovery workshops; creating strategic roadmaps; performing business analysis; and managing complex programs or projects.
• Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or comparable objective targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
