Delivery Solutions Architect - Public Sector (Federal)

Location: Remote, US-based, with up to 30% travel. U.S. citizenship is required to access classified information and comply with federal contract and client site access requirements.

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annual pay range. Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead post-technical-win account strategies and execution plans for Databricks use cases across strategic federal customers.
• Own technical delivery from onboarding and enablement through production launch, healthy consumption, and customer success.
• Act as the first technical contact for production and go-live issues, coordinating responses across selling teams and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding and Technical Services, Support, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Create execution plans covering production use cases, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, tuning and optimization, and executive governance.
• Report customer health, usage, risks, investment status, product adoption, and use-case progression to the Technical GM.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 7+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI, including contribution to technical debates and customer design choices.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and of attributing business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management experience, including accountability for accounts, stakeholders, and resources.
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
• Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets; willingness to travel up to 30% when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
