Quality Manager (Head Quality & EHS Clamps US) (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain, develop, and monitor the effectiveness of the plant quality system against organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the management representative for ISO 14001 and TS 16949 standards and support process owners with compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare the annual departmental budget and develop, implement, and monitor quality department goals and objectives.
• Create, monitor, and report performance measures to staff and management.
• Lead health and safety initiatives and provide leadership, performance oversight, development reviews, and continuous improvement direction for Quality Department staff.

Requirements

• Five or more years of supervisory experience in quality management within automotive manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14000 and TS 16949 standards.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience liaising with customers and vendors, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Ability to use the 8D problem-solving methodology to address quality issues.
