Director of Product, AML & Fraud Prevention (Fintech)

Location: Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania. Hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week; remote work is available for up to 90 days per year in the EU, including 21 days globally, with separate limits for non-EU citizens.

Gross monthly salary: €6,942–€9,392.

What you will do

• Set and align the AML & Fraud Prevention domain vision, goals, objectives and key results.
• Own the roadmap across AML/CTF, sanctions and PEP screening, KYC, transaction monitoring and fraud prevention.
• Translate regulatory obligations into product requirements with MLRO, Compliance, Risk and Legal teams, and automate manual controls where appropriate.
• Use data to size risk, identify opportunities, prioritize capabilities, and manage competing objectives.
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions and collaborate with vendors on AML and fraud prevention solutions.
• Hire, mentor, lead and scale Product Managers while implementing strong product and management practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with substantial experience in AML, financial crime, compliance, risk or fraud, ideally in a regulated financial institution, e-money institution, PSP, bank or fintech.
• 4+ years of developing people and managing teams, including Product Managers.
• Deep AML expertise covering KYC and identity verification, customer risk scoring, sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring and alert handling, SAR/STR reporting, EU AML directives and AML package, national transpositions, and FATF standards.
• Hands-on fraud and scam prevention experience, including detection models and rules engines, account takeover controls, chargebacks, disputes, and balancing loss reduction against false positives.
• A record of at least two successful substantial product launches lasting 6–9 months or longer.
• Experience working with compliance officers, internal and external auditors, and supervisors in regulated environments.
• Ability to deliver from 0 to 1 and build tools when needed.
• Exceptional leadership skills and substantial experience building high-performing teams of 10 or more.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, long-term planning, quantitative and qualitative analysis, usability research, market analysis, organization, collaboration, ownership, and written and spoken English communication.

• Experience in a regulated financial institution, e-money institution, PSP, bank or fintech.
