Product Engineer (AI/LLM)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed locations are New York, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, and Washington D.C.

What you will do

• Own product features end-to-end, from user research and specification through implementation, documentation, and release.
• Build across the full stack, including React, Next.js, ClickHouse analytics, Python and TypeScript SDKs, Terraform modules, and data-processing workers.
• Speak with users, respond in community channels, and use support conversations to guide product decisions.
• Write public documentation for owned features, treating documentation as part of the product.
• Present and ship new features during public Launch Weeks.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping user-facing products or features end-to-end.
• Experience with TypeScript and React is preferred, alongside exposure to data-intensive backends.
• Ability to manage projects independently and develop strong conviction about what to build.
• Strong product and developer-experience judgment, including API design, UI details, and clear documentation.
• Interest in open-source software and enthusiasm for discussing technical problems with developers.
• Computer science or quantitative degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse, analytics databases, or complex data visualizations.
• Founder or early-stage startup experience.
• Contributions to popular open-source projects.
• ML/AI experience or familiarity with the LLM framework ecosystem.
