Staff Frontend Engineer - Platform - App Core Usage | US | Remote

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and evolve full-stack applications, customer account portals, backend services, and APIs supporting usage, billing, provisioning, and account workflows.
• Develop frontend interfaces with TypeScript and React, and backend services with Golang and Node.js.
• Integrate Grafana systems with NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud marketplaces.
• Automate usage metering, pricing, promotions, billing reconciliation, provisioning, and customer lifecycle workflows.
• Improve CI/CD, observability, test coverage, runbooks, dashboards, alerts, rollout controls, and recovery procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while collaborating with product, DealOps, GTM, Support, UX, and adjacent engineering squads.

Requirements

• At least one year of fully remote work experience.
• Professional experience with Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building large SaaS platforms and addressing distributed-systems concerns such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
• Experience delivering self-directed projects from requirements and design through production, with clean, robust, tested, and maintainable code.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating asynchronously across teams and time zones.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Helm, Terraform, or Jsonnet.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, cost-management applications, or SaaS provisioning.
• Experience integrating third-party business systems, cloud marketplaces, or customer lifecycle platforms.
• Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and modern CSS-in-JS tooling.
• Experience handling configuration drift, partial failures, cross-service state mismatches, or incident response.
