Staff Frontend Engineer (Platform/App Core Usage)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: CAD 186,368–223,642 annually, plus RSUs

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and evolve full-stack web applications, customer account portals, backend services, and APIs supporting usage and billing workflows.
• Develop frontend interfaces with TypeScript and React, and backend services with Golang and Node.js.
• Build integrations with NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud marketplace systems.
• Automate usage metering, pricing, promotions, provisioning, billing reconciliation, and customer lifecycle workflows.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, observability, runbooks, dashboards, alerts, rollout controls, and recovery procedures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, coordinate across teams, and shape roadmap and system architecture decisions.

Requirements

• At least one year of fully remote work experience.
• Professional experience with TypeScript, React, Golang, and Node.js, including full-stack production systems.
• Experience with large SaaS platforms and distributed systems challenges such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Helm, Terraform, or Jsonnet.
• Experience delivering projects end to end, writing maintainable tested software, mentoring engineers, and collaborating asynchronously across teams.
• Ability to work across service boundaries and handle stateful systems, eventual consistency, reconciliation, reliability, and operational ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, cost management applications, or SaaS provisioning.
• Experience integrating NetSuite, Salesforce, cloud marketplaces, or other third-party business systems.
• Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, modern CSS-in-JS tooling, tenancy patterns, or regional expansion.
• Experience handling configuration drift, partial failures, or cross-service state mismatches during incident response.
