Senior Manager, Cryptographic Engineering (Quantum-Safe Security)

What you will do

• Lead, recruit, coach, and retain a team of 8+ specialised engineers across cryptography, hardware, embedded software, verification, QA, and security.
• Own end-to-end programme execution, including planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, budgets, and executive reporting.
• Establish engineering workflows, review processes, tooling, and laboratory operations while removing delivery blockers.
• Coordinate with talent acquisition, HR, product management, certification bodies, IP vendors, and customers.
• Partner with senior technical leaders who own the architecture and technical direction of post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience developing complex hardware, embedded, or security products.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience leading engineering teams that shipped certified products.
• Technical depth in digital hardware, embedded software, or security engineering sufficient to guide specialist teams.
• Proven experience building and leading specialist engineering teams and managing execution with rigorous planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Fluent English is required; French or German is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with cryptography or security products.
• Experience leading teams working across applied cryptography, RTL, FPGA design, firmware, protocols, verification, QA, and security certification.
