TL;DR

Automation Engineer (Python) (AI decisioning): Building and evolving system automation frameworks, tooling, and CI pipelines for correctness and performance testing across insurance decisioning products with an accent on large-scale workloads, concurrency, and data-volume testing. Focus on designing reusable test infrastructure, analyzing bottlenecks, and using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate automation maintenance.

What you will do

Design, build, and evolve system automation frameworks, tooling, and CI pipelines across hirify.global products.
Plan and run system-limitations testing across data volume, concurrency, and load.
Build and maintain performance benchmarks using realistic, large-scale workloads to detect regressions before releases.
Create reusable testing building blocks, documentation, and examples for product teams.
Analyze test results with developers and architects to identify bottlenecks and drive fixes.
Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to accelerate test creation and maintenance.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in automation or software development, with a strong server-side focus using Python.
Hands-on experience building test frameworks or test infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or similar tools, Git, Docker, AWS, and Linux.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

Experience with performance and load testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, or k6.
Experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar metrics and observability tools.
Experience generating test data at scale or analyzing benchmark results using mathematics or statistics.
