Software Validation Engineer (QA Engineer)

What you will do

• Partner with software development during design and implementation to assess risks and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Design, document, and execute test plans, procedures, and qualification activities for software features and complete systems.
• Perform feature validation, system integration, regression, and system-level testing, including on-tool and off-tool testing.
• Analyze logs, traces, and system data to investigate regressions, reproduce issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Act as a focal point for field issues and integration matters, providing quality feedback to R&D.
• Contribute to calibration, maintenance, and test utilities when required.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software validation, QA, or system testing of complex products.
• Strong experience with feature testing, system integration, regression testing, and defect analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Windows; Linux experience is advantageous.
• Scripting or test automation experience, preferably with Python.
• Experience analyzing logs, reproducing issues, documenting tests, and using test management tools and version control such as Jira and Git.
