Network Automation Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Plan and execute manual and automated performance tests for core network infrastructure and edge devices.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for continuous integration and validation.
• Analyze and debug complex network failures using automation, logs, and diagnostic tools.
• Lead validation for new projects and features, defining test coverage and automation strategies from the design stage.
• Design and deploy physical and virtual network topologies for automated end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• CCNA certification and strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Linux networking and troubleshooting.
• At least 3 years of experience developing test automation in Python using object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to debug complex, multi-component systems.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with physical network equipment in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with virtual environments such as ESX, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• CCNP or JNCIP certification.
• Familiarity with network test equipment or traffic generators.
