Senior Staff Software Automation Engineer (SDET) – Identity Authentication (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define and execute automation strategies for mission-critical identity authentication services.
• Design and maintain scalable frameworks for API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Own quality engineering infrastructure, tools, frameworks, test coverage, and quality gates.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and lead debugging and root-cause analysis across distributed cloud-native environments.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security to improve product quality and delivery velocity.
• Mentor engineers and implement AI-driven approaches to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering.
• Experience designing and building automation frameworks and infrastructure at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, or a similar language.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, automation architecture, and quality engineering principles.
• Excellent technical communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, cloud-native SaaS platforms, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
• Experience with Playwright and performance, scalability, or resilience testing.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts including SSO, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and ABAC.
• Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Experience building end-to-end features with AI provider models such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
