Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an electronics test lab, hardware prototyping lab, or similar environment, including lab-operations ownership.
  • Expert hand soldering and SMT rework skills, with proficiency in standard electronics bench instruments.
  • Experience with calibration databases, asset tracking, procurement systems, and third-party service vendors.
  • Working knowledge of ESD control and lab safety standards, including OSHA/EHS.
  • Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills when supporting engineering teams.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology, EET, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

  • J-STD-001 or IPC-7711/7721 rework certification.
  • Experience with high-speed or signal/power integrity labs, optical fiber handling, or RF/coaxial connectors.
  • Python instrument automation using PyVISA or SCPI.
  • Experience with 0201, QFN, LCC, 0.4 mm-pitch BGA, BGA reballing, and flex connectors.
  • Experience building or expanding labs and supporting first-silicon or new-board bring-up for AI accelerator teams.

Culture & Benefits

  • Four weeks of accrued PTO, 12 company holidays, and up to three weeks of remote work.
  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, vision, life, HSA, FSA, and disability insurance benefits.
  • 401(k) options with a 5% company contribution, plus travel insurance.
  • $1,500 annual professional development budget, team meals, commute support, and home-office reimbursements.
