Intern, Treasury (Finance)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; primary work environment is a professional corporate office.

Salary: $19.00–$29.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Support strategic treasury projects and ongoing day-to-day activities.
• Assist cash management by improving processes and reports with technologies such as AI and macros.
• Streamline file enhancements for financial reporting, improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Support share repurchase strategy, interest rate hedging, macroeconomic analysis, and debt capital markets projects.
• Collect data and provide analysis for updated rate guidance.
• Use Bloomberg for market data research and risk analysis, collaborate with internal departments and external counterparties, and participate in discussions about market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree candidate in Finance or Economics.
• Strong knowledge of finance, economics, and general business.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and a learning mindset.
• Ability to sit and work at a desk or personal computer for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations.

Nice to have

• Experience or understanding of Bloomberg.
• Experience in financial modeling or business analytics.
