Focus on analyzing Bills of Material, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating cross-functional purchasing activities, and integrating global purchasing insights into automotive projects.

Location: Hermosillo, Mexico

What you will do

  • Manage purchasing activities from customer RFQ through Start of Production to End of Life.
  • Analyze and edit Bills of Material to maintain competitive material costs and meet project targets.
  • Coordinate Strategic Purchasing activities with sales, development, quality, controlling, and production.
  • Represent Strategic Purchasing in project kick-offs, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and business plan meetings.
  • Integrate global purchasing perspectives, market trends, and new technologies into project teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role within manufacturing.
  • Advanced English at C1 level is required.
  • Fluent Spanish and English with strong professional communication skills are required.
  • Expertise in strategic negotiation and supplier management.
  • Advanced proficiency in big data analytics and data visualization tools.
