TL;DR

Buyer SR (Procurement/Supply Chain): Managing purchase requisitions, supplier sourcing, commodity costs, and procurement data for manufacturing operations with an accent on cost analysis, supply availability, and supplier quality. Focus on negotiating subcontract value, developing competitive supply sources, maintaining enterprise procurement data, and resolving supplier quality issues.

What you will do

Review and analyze purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and supplier requests for quotes.
Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, engineering, suppliers, and quality assurance.
Maintain procurement system data, bills of material, part and supplier codes, quote tables, and related supply chain records.
Perform cost analysis and volume planning for materials, components, equipment, services, and other assigned commodities.
Monitor subcontract cost, schedule, and scope while negotiating quality and value.
Develop competitive supply sources, recommend cost-saving alternatives, and resolve supplier quality issues.

Requirements

Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Experience with procurement, commodity management, supplier sourcing, and supply chain processes.
Ability to analyze diverse data, assess market trends, pricing, product availability, and cost-saving opportunities.
Knowledge of assigned commodities and procurement principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
