Senior Buyer Circuit Protection Product Development

What you will do

• Lead Procurement engagement with Industrial Circuit Protection Product Development teams for new product introduction and product development initiatives.
• Source materials, tooling, prototypes, and supplier solutions required for engineering projects.
• Manage supplier engagement throughout the product development lifecycle to support Design for Manufacturability, quality, and supply continuity.
• Lead RFQs, quotation analysis, supplier evaluation, selection, commercial negotiations, and sourcing strategy development.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, APQP/PPAP activities, AVL optimization, and operational requirements such as lead times, MOQ, logistics, inventory, and packaging.
• Monitor project cost, quality, timing, supplier readiness, and sourcing milestones, using Microsoft Office and project management tools; travel as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related functions within industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier relationships, supplier qualification, RFQs, sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and preferably product development or NPI programs.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, UL requirements, and structured project management environments.
• Strong project management, negotiation, communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting Engineering programs or New Product Introduction initiatives.
