Technical Staff Product Manager - Data (PropTech)

Location: Remote across most of the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the data platform, including ingestion, data models, data quality, and delivery to internal and customer-facing products.
• Lead root cause analysis for data quality issues, anomalies, and metric discrepancies, partnering with engineering on durable fixes.
• Define data quality standards, service-level agreements, monitoring, and platform health metrics.
• Partner with data engineering and data science to define technical requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize the backlog.
• Translate the needs of internal data users and multifamily operators into clear platform requirements.
• Evaluate data sources, vendors, and partnerships that improve the depth and accuracy of market intelligence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of combined experience in product management, data science, or data analytics, including at least 4 years managing data products or platforms.
• Background in data science, analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on complex data issues and delivering fixes.
• Solid understanding of pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality tooling.
• Experience working closely with data engineers and data scientists, with strong technical depth and communication skills.
• U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

• Experience in real estate, PropTech, or market data.
