Senior Product Manager (Data Platform)

A product and software company building a cloud-native data platform that ingests, governs, and serves data to product and analytics teams.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and prioritization for internal and third-party data sources, balancing coverage, cost, licensing, quality, and implementation effort.
• Define the source onboarding process from evaluation and provider assessment through ingestion, validation, and go-live.
• Establish data contracts and standards for schemas, freshness, quality, metadata, and governance.
• Manage internal product engineering, analytics, data science, Agentic AI, and operations teams as platform customers.
• Track source coverage, data quality, freshness, adoption, consumer satisfaction, and time-to-onboard.
• Use AI tools for requirements, documentation, source evaluation, feedback analysis, prototyping, and consumer support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including work with data, platform, infrastructure, or API products for internal or technical users.
• Fluency with data pipelines, warehouses and lakes, schemas, data quality, and governance.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data stacks, including object storage, managed warehouses, streaming or ELT, and orchestration.
• Experience managing internal customers, prioritizing cross-functional demand, and driving measurable adoption.
• Strong written communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Active use of AI tools and an interest in evolving AI-assisted workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate, property, leasing, or proptech.
• Experience defining data contracts.
• Familiarity with data catalogs, lineage, or self-service analytics tools.
• SQL fluency and comfort exploring data directly.
