Head of Product Delivery & PI Planner

Location: Hybrid at the hirify.global facility in Rockville, Maryland, or remote within the continental United States (CONUS). Travel up to 25% within CONUS.

Salary: $110,546–$120,875 per year, with possible additional compensation such as bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead Sub-Product Line Leads and the Intake Team supporting the VA supply chain and logistics product line.
• Own quarterly PI Planning, including backlog readiness, capacity planning, dependencies, risk tracking, and planned-versus-actual reporting.
• Manage the Product Line Strategic Roadmap and Program Backlog across sustainment, modernization, enhancement, and decommissioning work.
• Direct Agile Release Train execution, Inspect and Adapt activities, Scrum of Scrums, and Agile and DORA metrics.
• Oversee intake workflows, Requirements Analysis Proposals, architecture reuse reviews, security boundary reviews, and staffing plans.
• Manage product line risks, ATO and Section 508 reporting, innovation analysis, modernization planning, and delivery growth initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT delivery experience, including 5+ years leading product line, portfolio, or release train delivery on federal IT programs.
• 5+ years in SAFe leadership roles and experience facilitating PI Planning across multiple ARTs or product lines.
• 3+ years leading multidisciplinary teams of 20+ across architecture, engineering, data, testing, security, and release functions.
• Experience with VA OIT product line management, VA PARS, TRM, ATO/A&A processes, and concurrent legacy modernization.
• Required SAFe RTE or SPC certification and SAFe Agilist or SAFe POPM certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Background Investigation and VA PIV credential.

Nice to have

• SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, PMP or PgMP, ITIL 4 Foundation, and Security+ or equivalent.
• Master’s degree.
