ServiceNow Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
• Develop and optimize ITSM, App Engine, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, reporting, workflows, portals, and agent workspaces.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, services, databases, and APIs.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into technical platform solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, implement defect fixes, and support onboarding, operations, maintenance, releases, and production environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery, testing, documentation, configuration management, and accessibility and security compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline.
• Current ServiceNow certification.
• 5+ years of overall software development or programming experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, automation, troubleshooting, and enterprise support.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. DHS Public Trust suitability determination are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, App Engine, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, reporting, workflows, portals, or Agent Workspace.
• Enterprise API, systems integration, cloud, or Microsoft enterprise environment experience.
• Federal government, DHS, security, accessibility, development, release, or O&M experience.
