What you will do

• Define and lead the enterprise-level biostatistical strategy and technical direction for the Oncology therapeutic area.
• Advise cross-functional therapeutic-area leaders on statistical strategies affecting drug development, regulatory, health technology assessment, and medical strategies.
• Develop and implement pragmatic statistical methodologies supporting drug development, regulatory science, and patient-centric research.
• Oversee study design elements, protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans, clinical study reports, publications, regulatory documents, and reimbursement submissions.
• Establish policies, SOPs, standards, technical quality, and consistent approaches for statistical analysis.
• Lead talent development, organizational transformation, external scientific engagement, and decisions on statistical methodology within Oncology.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 6 years of biostatistics oncology experience, or a master’s degree and 10 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience.
• At least 6 years of direct people management or leadership experience involving teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry or medical research, oncology therapeutic areas, statistical science, and clinical drug development.
• Experience with regulatory and reimbursement submissions, statistical standards, policies, SOPs, and technical oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate internationally with globally dispersed, cross-cultural teams.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related subject with substantial statistical content.
• Scientific research or publications in statistical science.
• Global product lead statistician experience and lifecycle drug development experience.
• Established leadership and people management record.
